The Denver Police Deparment has issued a so-called "Dangerous Suspect" warning about Arthur "Art" Santistevan, who's wanted in relation to a number of nasty incidents, including stabbing a witness during a robbery on the 300 block of Fillmore earlier this month. Also on the DPD's radar is Matthew Russell Bonner, whose sins include a failure to appear in court plus second-degree assault on a peace officer. He, like Santistevan, should be considered armed and, yes, dangerous.

Denver Police Department release about Arthur "Art" Santistevan:
Denver Police need the assistance of the community to locate Arthur "Art" Santistevan (09-08-60). Santistvan is currently wanted for 2nd Degree Burglary out of Cherry Hills, Parole Violation (Vehicle Theft), Armed Robbery and 2nd Degree Assault out of Denver. Santistevan has an extensive and violent criminal history that includes burglary, drugs, auto-theft, and two previous homicide charges.On March 17, 2009, Santistevan was identified by Cherry Hills Police as the suspect in a residential burglary. When confronted by Cherry Hills police, Santistevan fled the scene by crashing his car through a fence and striking a Cherry Hills patrol car.
Santistevan's method in the Cherry Hills Village burglary matches that of numerous burglaries in the area of 3200 E. Floyd Ave. in February and March of 2009. The victims are usually elderly. The suspect enters the residences via the bedroom and bathroom windows usually between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
On May 6, 2009, Denver Police responded to 300 Fillmore St. on the report of a robbery. According to witnesses Santistevan entered the business and took items from the victim by force. When the suspect was confronted by a witness the suspect stabbed him. The suspect then fled the area prior to police arrival.
Santistevan has numerous tattoos on both arms that include a picture of a peacock, a lady's face, a man's face, and his last name tattooed on his back. He should be considered extremely dangerous and armed. Information was also received that family members could be hiding Santistevan and aiding him in his flight from law enforcement.
Denver Police Department release about Matthew Russell Bonner:
Matthew Russell Bonner (DOB 3/10/78) is wanted for Failure to Appear on Auto Theft Charges out of Denver District Court. Bonner is also wanted for 2nd Degree Assault on a Peace Officer, Larceny, Vehicular Eluding, Reckless Driving, and Hit and Run.On May 8th, 2009, at approximately 1:00 PM Denver Officers were flagged down by the manager of the Sinclair station located at 2690 S. Monaco Pkwy regarding a larceny. As Denver Officers approached Bonner, he got into his vehicle, a green Dodge Dakota (no visible plates). Officers attempted to open the door to the vehicle and Bonner pulled away, causing the Denver officer to get his hand caught in the door handle, dragging the officer for several feet. Bonner sped away, striking two civilian vehicles in the process. Bonner lead Denver officers on a brief pursuit and was able avoid capture.
Bonner is a drug user (methamphetamine) and is currently considered Armed and Dangerous. According witnesses, he will resist all law enforcement efforts to capture him. Bonner drives stolen vehicles and in the past week, has been seen in seven different vehicles. Bonner is frequenting the South Broadway Corridor and could possibly be staying in the hotels in South Denver. Bonner's physical description is 6'2", 190 lbs, brown hair, and brown eyes.
