Across the country, plenty of people staged viewing parties for the Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao fight, a pricey pay-per-view event that left many people disappointed afterward.

But if representatives of the Colorado Springs Police Department are right, their frustration with the face-off, which Mayweather won in a clutchy/grabby decision, is nothing compared to what was experienced by Maurice Kendrick.

At this writing, Kendrick, 34, is wanted for assault and more after allegedly attacking women who rejected his advances and then opening fire on the house where a Mayweather-Pacquiao-inspired bash was taking place.

The Colorado Spring Police blotter says the incident took place at approximately 1:26 a.m. on Sunday, May 4, on the 100 block of South Institute Street in the Springs. The location is captured in the following interactive graphic; if you have problems seeing the image, click "View on Google Maps."

At the scene, officers were told that Kendrick pulled a handgun multiple times during the get-together.

He's also said to have threatened "several women" — and then physically assaulted them — "after being rebuffed for his advances."

Apparently, these offenses didn't satisfy him, either. So as he was leaving the party, Kendrick is accused of firing several rounds at the house as he was being driven away by another person.

The shots were wild; a neighboring home was hit along with the one at which Kendrick was presumably aiming. Fortunately, no one was injured.

Among the images of Kendrick provided by the CSPD is the identification-card pic at the top of this post (a larger version of the image is also on view below) and this one:

Yes, Kendrick is also a parolee with the Colorado Department of Corrections.

At this writing, Kendrick remains on the loose.

If you have any information about his whereabouts, you're encouraged to contact the Colorado Springs Police Department at 719-444-7000 or Northern Colorado Crime Stoppers at 719-634-STOP (7867).
