But the Gonzales family has no intention of letting the deaths of their loved ones fall through the cracks. They're using public demonstrations and social media to keep the focus on finding the killer.
Details about the case are few, even after all this time. At about 7:30 p.m. on January 3, family members came to an apartment near West 66th Place and Federal Boulevard in Adams County and discovered a gruesome scene.Raelynn and Fabian, for whom she cared, had both been stabbed to death.
"Oh my God, they're all dead! Help!" a neighbor heard one of them yell seconds afterward.
In the immediate aftermath of the killings, authorities in Adams County revealed little about the crime -- possible suspects, motive, anything. And that remains the case to this day.
Frustrated, the Gonzales family staged a rally last night covered by Fox31....
...and are keeping the memories of victims alive on the RaeLynn/Fabian Gonzales Facebook page. Featured there are photos of little Fabian like this one.... ...as well as images of him with RaeLynn, who was so devoted to him: The family is also offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.Continue for details about the reward, plus more photos and a video. The Facebook page also endeavors to portray RaeLynn as a real person, not just a crime statistic.
