The first happened in the Lowry neighborhood outside an apartment complex where a party was taking place. The incident left two men dead.
The second went down last night at a residence near the intersection of Pontiac Street and Martin Luther King Boulevard. The shooting killed one man.
No arrests have been made in those two cases.
However, a suspect is in custody following the third Denver shooting in a 24-hour period.
The Denver Police Department tweeted about the shooting number three just after midnight on Monday, March 16:

View Larger MapNo followup tweet from the DPD about the Race Street shooting thus far — which suggests that the cops believe they've already got their hands on the person who pulled the trigger.
Once again, the victim of this shooting is a man. Once again, his identification will wait until his next of kin is notified.
In the meantime, investigators were on the scene when 7News' Eric Lupher tweeted this image....

As we noted in the Lowry post, shooting incidents like these tend to take place when the weather warms.
But such a cluster of homicides definitely shows the downside of a gorgeous day.
