Today, training camp for the Denver Broncos is closed to the public because of flooding caused by yesterday's downpour in the lot where fans park.
But at least the drenching produced plenty of laughs, thanks to the social media squads for the Broncos and the Colorado Avalanche.
Given that it's the off-season for the National Hockey League, the Avs' helpers have plenty of time on their hands — and as noted by 7News, their inspired responses to Broncos tweets about the storm led to a flurry of back-and-forth pop-culture GIFs with a decidedly wet-and-wild theme.
The first Broncos tweet about the camp shutdown is straightforward.
