Immigration and Customs Enforcement has put a hold on Guzman-Rincon, a bit of info sure to stir up the Tom Tancredo demographic.

Aurora Police Department release:
Police Identify Suspect Arrested in Connection with ShootingAurora, Colo. -- Aurora Police are identifying the man arrested in connection with the non-fatal shooting that took place earlier this week near an Aurora high school.
Luis Guzman-Rincon, 19, of Aurora was taken into custody by Aurora Police yesterday afternoon. Guzman-Rincon is being held in the Arapahoe County Jail on investigation of Criminal Attempt 1st Degree Murder and First Degree Assault.
Guzman-Rincon is believed to be an undocumented immigrant. He is being held for bond in the amount of $100,000. A hold has also been placed on him by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Due to the needs of this active investigation, detectives are not releasing Guzman-Rincon's arrest photo. Detectives are requesting that if a photograph of the arrestee is obtained by any other means that it not be broadcast. Detectives anticipate using Guzman-Rincon's arrest photo for investigative purpose in the days ahead.
Update, December 9, 7:52 a.m.: The Aurora Police Department is hiding many of its cards in the Karina Vargas-Aurora Central shooting, but a big one is on the table: The APD has made an arrest in the case. At this point, the department is ID'ing him only as an adult male; his name and photo are being withheld for investigative purposes.

Police Make Arrest in Connection with Shooting Near High SchoolAurora, Colo. -- Aurora Police are announcing the arrest of an adult male in connection with the shooting that took place near Central High School on Monday.
The suspect, who is believed to be shooter, was taken into custody in Aurora this afternoon. He is currently being questioned at Aurora Police Headquarters. Due to the needs of this ongoing and active investigation, detectives are not releasing the man's name or his arrest photo today.
Detectives are requesting that if a photograph of the arrestee is obtained by any other means that it not be broadcast. Detectives anticipate using the man's photo for investigative purpose in the days ahead.
Original item, 7:20 a.m. December 8: Although the Aurora Police Department hasn't officially confirmed that the teen shot outside Aurora Central High School on Monday is Karina Vargas, officers are clearly making the case an extremely high priority. With reports about the possible involvement of the Devils Angels gang in the incident, the APD is offering a $5,000 reward and circulating a photo of a '90s-era Infinity sedan like one spotted at the scene.

Aurora Police Department release:Police Offer Reward for Information on Shooting near High SchoolAurora, Colo. -- A reward of up to $5,000 is being offered by Aurora Police for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible for shooting a high school student on Monday that left her seriously injured.
On December 6, 2010, at about 2:30 p.m. officers responded to the area of 11th Avenue and Newark Street near Central High School on a report of a shooting. Officers arrived and quickly determined that the gunshot victim had been driven to a nearby hospital by friends or possibly acquaintances. The school was placed on lockdown while officers searched the area for the individuals involved in the shooting.
Officers responded to the hospital, secured the outdoor crime scene, contacted witnesses, and requested assistance from investigators.
Major Crimes Unit (MCU) detectives and personnel with the Crime Scene Investigation Unit (CSI) responded to the scene of the shooting and the hospital.
Initial reports led investigators to believe that a black or dark primer gray sedan was used by the shooter as a getaway car. During the course of ensuing investigation, detectives have obtained new information about this car. The description of the getaway vehicle has been updated to a 90's model black Infinity sedan. Detectives are still attempting to identify the license plate associated with this vehicle.
Detectives believe that the shooting victim wasn't directly involved in any type of altercation or fight prior to the shooting.
The female victim's name is not being released.
Emergency calls recorded by dispatch in regards to this incident are not being released.
