While some of us were at home lighting up last night, firefighters across the state were working to extinguish some of the most frightening blazes in the state's history.

To help support firefighters on the front lines near Fort Collins, Colorado Springs and Boulder, several medical marijuana businesses have come together to collect supplies needed.

The information is included in a press release shared with us by attorney Warren Edson:

Thanks to Twirling Hippy Confections LLC, The Clinic, MMD of Colorado, iCannabisRadio, Edson, Maytin and Matz LLP and Jake's Denver, we have a moving truck coming to 3888 E. Mexico Ave, Denver, Co. 80210 to collect items.

You can leave $ donations at Edson, Maytin & Matz LLP or The Clinic and we will immediately go out and purchase needed items.

PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD.

This is how you can help. Please come down to the building if you can volunteer today to monitor the truck or spin a sign. Yes, I wrote spin a sign...

Want to help!? Here is a list of things that we need....

We need 3000-5000 each of the following:

• sleeping masks (for firefighters sleeping day shifts) • tons of disposable earplugs • individual and bulk sized saline bottles (for eyes and nose etc) • tubes of nasal gel • cloth napkins (for handkerchiefs) • pocket sized paper pads, pencils, and little sharpeners • cases and cases of coconut water. • BIOYTENE gum and mouthrinses • bags of cheap but long thick socks

This is just for SOME of the firefighters, but these are items they do without if PUBLIC SUPPORT doesn't provide them...

Got an airline contact? Ask them for sleeping masks. Hotels? Ask them for everything they can spare (old sheets and towels as well, to wipe off soot etc....and also for the displaced animals in shelters and makeshift living areas)

PASS THIS AROUND COLORADO! ASK ME ANY QUESTIONS!

Peace Thru Action, Power Thru Peace

Edson can be reached at [email protected]. Donations can also be made at MMD of Colorado, 2609 Walnut Street in Denver. Feel free to post information about any other food/clothing/supply drives related to the fires in the comment section below.
