The Denver Police Department is offering a reward, and releasing more information, about the murder of Jacob Medina, whose body was found in a field at the intersection of Arizona Avenue and Pecos Street on May 31. Apparently, Medina was at a party nearby when a fight took place, injuring several other people, and resulting in his fatal wounds.

A Homicide occurred on Sunday, May 31st, 2009 at approximately 3:00 a.m. in the early morning at the location of 1200 South Pecos Street in Denver, Colorado. The residents of 1200 South Quivas Street had thrown a party with a large crowd. The party crowd was celebrating in the backyard area of the house and beyond a wooden fence on South Pecos Street. A fight ensued with the crowd on South Pecos Street. Several parties were injured from the fight with various types of weapons. The homicide victim, twenty-one year old Jacob Medina, received injuries from the fight causing his death.
