The Denver Police Department has released information about arrests in the slayings of Christian Hernandez and Eduardo Sanchez, who died from their injuries during a June 22 double shooting at the Glen Apartments, 9600 E. Girard, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). Late last night, two male suspects were arrested in connection with the crime, but because they're juveniles, no information about their identity has been made available yet.

On June 22, 2009, members of the Denver Police Department responded to the location of 9600 E Girard on a report of a double shooting. Upon their arrival, officers located two male victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Paramedics transported both victims to Swedish Medical Center where victim Christian Hernandez, (22) died from his injuries. On June 24, 2009, victim Eduardo Sanchez, (19) also died from his injuries.The Denver Police Department worked through the next several days and ultimately identified two juvenile male suspects. On June 23, 2009 at approximately 11:00 p.m., detectives arrested these juvenile males for investigation of Murder in the First Degree. Detectives will present the facts of the investigation to the Denver District Attorney for consideration of formal charges. No suspect information is available at this time as they are juveniles.
