The site's treasure trove of information about each district includes details about median earnings, school enrollment, race, ethnicity and plenty of other facts.

Also enumerated: the life expectancy of the districts' residents.

We've listed Colorado districts by this life-and-death metric — and if you live in Denver proper, you may not be pleased by the ranking.

Location: Dominated by the City and County of Denver
Average life span: 79.2 years

Number 6: Colorado's Third Congressional District
Location: Western and south-central Colorado, including the Western Slope
Average life span: 79.6 years

Number 5: Colorado's Seventh Congressional District
Location: The northern and western parts of the Denver metro area
Average life span: 79.8 years

Number 4: Colorado's Fifth Congressional District
Location: Colorado Springs and its suburbs
Average life span: 79.9 years

Location: The eastern plains, including Greeley and Lamar
