Platinum 84, a strip club in Federal Heights, has gotten some negative publicity in recent months owing to a pair of incidents: an August shooting that hurt two and the injury of a cop in a September assault following an appearance by 2 Live Crew. But with the holidays approaching, the news is considerably better: The club struck PR gold after winning first prize in a Federal Heights holiday lighting contest. Continue for an extremely safe-for-work video, plus two other "holiday" clips that are thoroughly NSFW.

Earlier in the week, Platinum 84's Facebook page shared this clip, in which a certain Penny Poison uses a whip to emphasize her desire for sex toys this Christmas:

But then, yesterday, came a very different kind of post. It reads in part: "Thank you for helping to make Platinum 84 the best strip club in Colorado and to the City of Federal Heights for voting us #1 for best Holiday Light Show in the City."

No joke: Here's the certificate commemorating Platinum 84's holiday-lighting victory....

How is Platinum 84 planning to mark its big win? Another post reads: "To celebrate, Christmas Eve we will be doing $100 bottle specials all night long again on select bottles."
