This anecdote spurred more. For instance, a former bus driver shared the story of a couple that met on his bus and are planning to get married.

Also weighing in was the following reader, who senses a certain superiority among Denverites when it comes to using RTD.

It's funny how people think Denver RTD is for people who are less than themselves. My sister in law is a dean at UCDenver and she rides the bus everyday. Hmmmm, she saves a lot of money this way. Americans, we are far to attached to our cars, which are a big waste of money.
