Update: Two weeks ago, we told you that the Scarlet Ranch swingers club is moving from 424 Broadway in Denver to a secret location. And while owner Kendall Seifert is still mum about where it's heading, he has released some details.

An e-mail to members revealed that the new facility will launch on June 3, with a grand opening party held the next day.

The party is nicknamed The Hunt for Ranch IV, which the Scarlet Ranch Facebook page jokingly calls "kind of like Rocky IV....without the soundtrack."

More details from the e-mail:

Nestled into our beautifully manicured landscape, our new 18,000 sq. ft. facility can accommodate events up to 1,000 people and provides a private, safe and amazing experience.

Directions are easy and parking is plentiful and private.

Some features include:

* 5 acres of park-like setting providing for indoor as well as outdoor "play" areas * 2 outdoor hot tubs * Very large dance floor with state-of-the-art sound and lighting system. * Seating for over 200 people * Full kitchen: providing a variety of options for dinner as well as fresh appetizers throughout the evening. * Two levels with a variety of "play" rooms that we are working on now.

Fresh appetizers? Insert cocktail wiener joke here -- and then look below for our earlier coverage.

Original item, 2:02 p.m. May 12: The Scarlet Ranch swingers club, winner of Best Live Porn Watching in our 2011 Best of Denver contest and subject of our 2006 feature "Swap Talk," is moving from its nondescript location at 424 Broadway in Denver to ... another, secret location that owner Kendall Seifert won't reveal just yet. "You can't have an address," he says. "You can have an address in a week."

Seifert won't even reveal whether the new location is in Denver; "Yes and no," he says when asked whether the new club will be in the city proper. But our guess is no, given that he's had trouble with the city's fire department.

"I shut down the Ranch on Broadway at the end of last month. I had scheduled that with the city. It was either that or they wanted me to bring it up to code with fire sprinklers and other things," he says. "I wasn't motivated on that one."

An e-mail sent to club members back in September looking for investors offers some clues as to the new location. "Scarlet Ranch is entering a new era, and I have the opportunity to purchase a much larger facility with onsite parking for several hundred cars," Seifert wrote. "The building I am interested in is an 18,000 sq. ft. club situated on two acres located off Broadway, a short distance from our current location."

Seifert hinted at the same when we spoke to him today. "Part of our game is we'd like a much bigger building because business has been good down there," he says.

Seifert says he hopes to open the new Ranch by the end of this month. "It's been closed for a week and a half, and I don't like it," he says. "I can't wait to be back open."

We bet there are plenty of swingers who feel the same way.
