It's New Year's Eve Eve and you're stuck in that mid-holiday rut? Whether you're hoping to celebrate early and avoid the NYE debauch or just want to dig yourself out of the house, a glitzy night of Broadway standards, delivered by a crack cast at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret, might be the very thing you crave.
Put on your sparkly duds, dudes: Master of ceremonies Eric Mather (a local improv stalwart) will introduce Evolution Theatre Company's Broadway at the Cabaret, a one-night-only revue of favorite tunes from Wicked, Rent, Miss Saigon, Phantom of the Opera and other hit musicals, tonight at 8 p.m. in the cozy confines of Lannie's. And while you enjoy the great entertainment, you'll also be able to bid on an eclectic selection of silent auction items to help raise funds for the company.
Tickets, which promise to get scarce quickly, are $25 in advance or $30 at the door; for information visit the Lannie's website or call 303-293-0075. Lannie's is at 1601 Arapahoe Street in the D & F Tower.
