The Mesa County Sheriff's Office release about Ketcher notes that he was wanted on charges of sexual assault on a child.According to KREX-TV in Grand Junction, he is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a fifteen-year-old girl over a six-month span.
He also allegedly knew the girl's mother, and the station reports that only after he began threatening the mom did the teen come forward and reveal what was going on.
In an interview with First Coast News, MCSO spokeswoman Heather Benjamin maintains that Ketcher purchased gifts for the girl in order to lure her into a relationship.The sheriff's office suspected that Ketcher was in the Jacksonville, Florida area, where he has family -- and on Wednesday, he turned himself in to authorities in Clay County.
