Four years ago, then-Durango High School student Sydney Spies was thrust into the national spotlight, making appearances on the Today show and numerous other outlets.

Why? Because her senior pictures were rejected for inclusion in the DHS yearbook after being deemed too sexy.

In the wake of the controversy, Sydney landed a small role in a SyFy TV movie before moving to Amsterdam with her mother, Miki Spies, and establishing Bitch House Productions.

Last year, Bitch House attempted to launch a reality-TV empire that has yet to take over the world. But that hasn't stopped the self-labeled SpiesGirls.

Now, the focus is on publishing. Bitch House has just issued a new book titled How to Be a Sex God: Make Women Worship You, with Miki penning the text and illustrating the opus with photos of Sydney.

The cover of the book features one of the rejected yearbook photos....

...and while the twenty featured shots of Sydney, including this one....

...and this one....

...are flirty, they stop short of being explicit.

How to Be a Sex God is more direct, particularly in a chapter called "The Act," which contains advice like this: "Get her on all fours. Hold onto her hips. Tell her how great she looks when she is free. Wet your thumb and place it between her cheeks to see how she responds. A lot of men take zero risks. As a SEX GOD be bold. Be in charge."

Miki mentions Sydney only a few times over the course of Sex God. She notes at one point that "I created an environment where my kids could talk freely about sex. It has always been a topic they felt free to explore.

"There was never embarrassment around the subject and absolutely no judgement was placed on them," the passage continues. "They could ask anything. I was very involved while they were discovering their sexuality."

In another section, Miki reveals that Sydney wants a monogamous "life commitment" complete with children but has no plans to marry and "won't take a man's name."

Via e-mail, Miki writes that "after the flurry of hate Sydney and I received from the nation, we became super-spiritual. There is no question in my mind I manifest every major event in my life. We all do. Intentionally or haphazardly.

"SpiesGirls are dedicated to assisting people understand their manifesting power," she adds.
