But in the case of the three men who robbed a Bank of the West in Northglenn on Monday, the feds aren't waiting, due in part to their violent technique: They wielded at least one weapon while snatching and grabbing "takeover-style."

A bank robbery occurred on Monday, May 17, 2010, at approximately 11:22 a.m. at theBank of the West 10393 Huron St. Northglenn, Colorado
The suspects were described as 3 black males, late teens to early 20's.
The suspects were armed with at least one handgun and robbed the bank in a "takeover style" method.
Bank robbery is punishable by a twenty year prison sentence for each offense and increases if a dangerous weapon is used in the commission of the crime.
The FBI continues to provide financial institutions with the best practices for security to make them less vulnerable to robberies.
