These days, everybody's got a class. Everyday people are knitting and making books. They're learning to make felted wool gewgaws. DIY's the back-to-nature movement of the decade, and that's not a bad thing. So, here's another class: Mod Livin' continues its take on the concept tomorrow night at 6:30 p.m. with this month's installment of the modern-style emporium's Do-Mod-Yourself Series, which debuted last month with a workshop on homemade decorative decals. In March, handy folks at the DMY session will learn how to make a "modern wall" clock from a slice of tree trunk. The cost is $18, which includes all materials and instruction. Not to mention, a functional piece that you can take home and use.
Mod Livin' is at 5327 E. Colfax Avenue. Space is limited so reserve a spot by e-mailing [email protected].
