Why not? Because Talib is recovering from being shot at a Dallas strip club early yesterday morning.
The Denver Broncos Twitter account recently sent out a get-well tweet to Talib. But the focus of most other messages over the past day or so has been the POTUS get-together, and understandably so.
After all, there are plenty of concerns about the Broncos moving forward, including whether quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and/or Paxton Lynch will be able to keep the juggernaut moving forward following the unexpected departure of QB heir apparent Brock Osweiler, who's skipping today's festivities to concentrate on his new team, the Houston Texans.
In contrast, the Obama visit offers an opportunity to celebrate something certain — the Broncos' status as NFL champs.
Here are our ten favorite Twitter preview highlights, from the team and assorted players.
