It's hard to believe, but just two weeks ago, after the Broncos' big win over the Green Bay Packers, Peyton Manning fans were telling doubters to suck it.

Not now. Manning suffered through one of his most horrific days ever against the Kansas City Chiefs yesterday, throwing four picks and being benched in favor of backup Brock Osweiler en route to a 29-13 Denver loss — and on Twitter, his defenders were in short supply.

Granted, Osweiler didn't look like a world-beater in his 2015 regular season debut; he led the team to thirteen garbage-time points, but also threw an interception in the end zone.

Nonetheless, plenty of folks on Twitter would prefer to see Brock start next week over a nicked-up Peyton — which only goes to show how awful Manning played. He may have set the all-time passing-yards record, but he did so against an exceedingly sorry backdrop.

Look below to see our picks for the twenty most memorable tweets about the Broncos' quarterback situation, illustrated with images from the game.
