Unfortunately, many of these slayings remain unsolved at this writing -- but arrests have been made in a sizable percentage of them, resulting in the release of photos capturing the accused shortly after the bust in question.

Below, find the most vivid of those images, complete with links to blogs providing more information on their alleged crimes. It's a grim but compelling chronicle of violence in Denver in 2009.
