Mexican joints across town have discovered the joys of Taco Tuesdays, which fill restaurants on a slow night of the week -- and generally tend to fill cash registers, too, because while regulars fill up on bargain tacos, their bar tabs keep growing.

When he opened Adelitas Cocina Y Cantina last May, longtime restaurateur Brian Rossi realized there would be some slow days, and he was quick to introduce his own version of Taco Tuesday. And now he's figured out how to move things along on Monday, too: with two-for-one margaritas all day and night.

Get ready for Margarita Mondays. The deal, which starts today, applies only to the house margarita -- a relative bargain at $5 for Agavales tequila and fresh-squeezed juice, but a real bargain when you're getting two drinks for the price of one. (This means you'll want to skip the standard happy-hour-deal of a house marg for $4 on Monday.)

Adelitas will continue offering Taco Tuesdays, when most of its tacos are just a buck each.

And this Wednesday, it will host its first Thanksgiving Eve party, with Christmas tunes, classic Christmas movies, lights and turkey tacos and turkey enchiladas.
