Dads & Dudes Breweria has created a special beer just for Sunday's game against the Indianapolis Colts. The brewery and pizza joint describes the beer, called Outta Luck Orange-Crushed Ale, as a "lightweight, low-strength, easy to pound down beer of 4 percent ABV that finishes incredibly fast." Colorado hops and orange peel add flavor to the pale malt base. Dad's and Dudes promises a free pint and free pizza to any Indianapolis Colts players (not fans) who show up in uniform at game time Sunday.
Oskar Blues Brewing has thrown down a challenge of its own -- against Indiana's Sun King Brewing. If the Broncos win the game on Sunday, all sales from pints of bee in Sun King's tasting room on January 10 will be donated to CAN'D AID -- Oskar Blues' nonprofit wing that gives back to the community. If the Colts win, all sales of Pinner Throwback IPA at the beer's release party at the Tasty Weasel Tap Room on Saturday will go to Know Outlets, an Indianapolis organization that raises awareness of homelessness issues.
Chef and restaurateur Troy Guard will be firing up the grill at the Noble Energy Grill outside of Sports Authority Field before the game, kicking off his cooking demo at 1:15 along with Broncos alumni Steve Foley, Louis Wright and Bob Swenson; they'll team up to make a pork and shrimp noodle bowl with quinoa as well as Guard's signature TAG sliders.
