Eggs -- you think you know them inside and out, but do you know everything they can do? The Seasoned Chef Cooking School is holding a special class starting at 6:30 p.m. to teach students about the versatility of the simple egg. Using science and culinary know-how, you'll learn more advanced techniques for eggs and recipes like souffle roulade and the perfect omelet. Tonight at 6 p.m., Frasca will hold a special dinner to benefit the Ellie White Foundation for Rare Genetic Disorders. Ellie is an eleven-year-old Coloradan with the extremely rare condition called Wolfram's Syndrome. (You can read more about the Foundation's work here.) The venerable Italian restaurant and market in Northwest Denver, Parisi, is hosting a wine dinner celebrating that most classically Italian of wines -- Tuscan Chianti. Three Chiantis will be poured, while Mario Scanu of the Winebow Group pours out knowledge. Thursday, February 5 La Biblioteca, the cozy tequila bar in Riverfront Park, is continuing its Thursday Meet the Makers series this week. Tonight, the bad boys of Agave Underground will be stopping by to share tastings of their tequilas.
