Tonight is also the third annual Chomp Thanksliving Feast, hosted by Plants & Animals, a vegan advocacy group, tonight at 7 p.m.
Chomp is a monthly community dinner featuring an entirely vegan menu prepared by various volunteers that welcomes all types of diners -- vegan or not. In honor of fall's flavors, the Thanksliving Feast will feature vegan dishes that all herbivores can prepare for their own holiday feasts -- and prove to carnivorous companions that meatless holiday dinners can be appetizing.
The Thanksliving Feast is at the Horse Barn, a non-profit shared space at 1031 33rd Street. An $8 to $10 donation is suggested; bring a plate and utensils. If you are interested in volunteering, e-mail [email protected]. And for more information about the Chomp event, check out the Plants & Animals Denver Facebook page.
