The Fainting Goat, 846 Broadway, will introduce a new menu today at 11 a.m. The pub's fare now features spinach and artichoke dip, sliders and salads, and a "seared" blue cheese and bacon cheeseburger; check the website for the rest of the selection. The Goat is also debuting a new happy hour, with half-off all drafts, wells and wines from 3 to 7 p.m. during the week; call 303-945-2323 for details.

Monday, January 21:

Bramble & Hare, 1970 13th Street in Boulder, is also introducing a new happy hour today. The farm-to-table restaurant will offer a rotating $5 food and drink menu daily from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Visit the website for the current offerings, and call 303-444-9110 for more details.

The second annual Beaver Creek Food and Wine Weekend gets under way at the Beaver Creek Resort in Avon today. Steve's Snappin' Dogs, 3525 East Colfax Avenue, is hosting its Best Tasting Green Chili Contest today from 1 to 3 p.m. The event features over a dozen local restaurants offering up their versions of the dish to a panel of local judges, which includes Westword's Lori Midson. And the restaurant will donate 10 percent of hot dog sales during the event to Project Angel Heart; check the website for more information.
