On Sunday, September 22, DISH will dish out food and drinks from dozens of Cafe Society's favorite restaurants and trucks, as well as Best of Denver readers' winners, in the Sculpture Park at the Denver Performing Arts Complex. And Table 6, 609 Corona Street, is bringing its pork and duck pate finger sandwiches with smoked almond pimento cheese and stuffed olives.

The sandwiches are made with a pate from pork butt, duck heart and duck breast, a pimento cheese spread, white cheddar and smoked almonds. The combination will be served on pullman bread with a stuffed olive garnish.

"We feature old school classics with a modern twist," explains executive chef Carrie Shores. "This is something you could have seen at a cocktail party in the '50s but they would probably have used sliced boiled ham and store-bought pimento cheese."

DISH runs from 1:30 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sunday 22. (VIP ticket-holders get in at noon -- but those tickets are sold out.) For more information about Westword's annual celebration of the Denver dining scene, including how to buy $35 general admission tickets, visit our 2013 Westword DISH site.
