Celebrate the alcoholic arts on the eve of Repeal Day with a 1933 carnival at Green Russell from 7 p.m. tonight to 1 a.m. This semi-speakeasy joint, fronted by another Frank Bonanno establishment, Wednesday's Pie, will host a night filled with musical entertainment from the Minor Note Orchestra and sultry burlesque acts from Ms. Vivienne VaVoom. The bar will be creating specialty cocktails made with George Dickel. Tickets are $10 per person at the door and include a drink ticket, which will be entered into a raffle for a Goorin Bros. hat. (Goorin Bros., close by in Larimer Square, will have its own Prohibition repeal party on December 5.)
