Cook Street Cooking School is offering Cooking with Herbs and Spices from 6 to 9:30 p.m. today. The class will teach when to use fresh or dry spices, how to toast and grind spices, how to use spices in meat rubs and marinades, and then share the best tips for buying and storing. Tuition is $89, register at cookstreet.com.

Tonight at 7 p.m., Guard and Grace will team up with Great Divide for a five-course beer dinner. The dinner is $80; for reservations, call the restaurant at 303-293-8500.

Charcoal will be hosting Flowers Vineyard and Winery for a special wine dinner tonight at 6:30 p.m. The dinner is $90 per person; reservations can be made by calling 303-454-0000
