The motives were so noble: Fresko is Mexican casual cuisine, promised the menu, a unique place, an experience, and a taste only known in Mexico. Fresko is honored to be in Colorado. Fresko is genuine, culture, quality, passion, freshness, ambiance, with a staff that loves to share. Experience metropolitan Mexican dining for a fast lunch, or a comfortable dinner with friends and family.

But now you can't experience Fresko with anyone. The restaurant at 5062 South Syracuse in Greenwood Village, which had only opened in late July, has closed. It just didn't take off as the owners had anticipated, and rather than throw more money at the concept, they closed the doors in late September.
