From Bowling to Ramen Bowls: Our Restaurant Roll Call for May 2015

May saw the departure of a couple of old Denver favorites: Sullivan's Steakhouse, which had held down the corner of 18th and Wazee streets since 1999, and the much more storied Elitch Lanes, which bowled its last strike on Tennyson Street and then shuttered after more than six decades in business when an attempt to move to Western Bowl in Arvada fell through. While both will be missed, a couple of big openings helped us move ahead: Chef/restaurateur Jeff Osaka debuted Osaka Ramen on Larimer Street and the Breckenridge Brewery threw open the doors to its spacious new Farm House Restaurant on a multi-acre campus in Littleton.
