Monday, December 14

Sarto's
has teamed up with Bruton, a cult-favorite Italian craft brewer, to host a night of beer and bites. The evening will feature five courses paired with the handcrafted, unfiltered beers of Bruton. The evening kicks off at 6 p.m.; tickets are $60, and very limited. Call 303-455-1400 to save your spot now. 

OAK at Fourteenth will be celebrating its five-year anniversary today, and thanking guests for their patronage by handing out complimentary fried pickles and a house-made cocktail (or house-made soda, as a non-alcoholic option). Call OAK at 303-444-3622, for reservations and more information.

Channel the Force at the Dickens Opera House this evening, when it will show Return of the Jedi for the Movie Night and Tap Takeover. Get ready for the release of The Force Awakens later this week while enjoying beer from Avery Brewing, which will be taking control of the taps. Tuesday, December 15

Make sure your Christmas dinner is a hit this year by signing up for the Seasoned Chef Cooking School's Ultimate Christmas Dinner class today, which will teach you how to cook up a feast fit for the holidays, but with a few unexpected twists. The menu will feature hot smoked salmon salad with avocado and barbecue vinaigrette, wild mushroom bisque, grilled New York sirloin, chocolate and hazelnut peppermint truffles, and more. Wednesday, December 16 

The Tavern Littleton continues to spread holiday cheer with the bar's Christmas Movie Nights. This evening the Tavern will be showing  Polar Express at 6:30 p.m., and the classic National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free, and there will even be free popcorn. 

Haystack Mountain Goat Creamery will be offering a class on the Art of Cheese today. In the class you'll learn how to make a Colby, and taste samples and review recipes for Havarti and several other cheeses. Thursday, December 17 

Haystack Mountain Goat Creamery is holding another cheese course, Cheesemaking 101, with award-winning cheesemaker Jackie Chang; there will also be a creamery tour. The class runs from 2 to 4 p.m. and is $30; register and learn more here

Friday, December 18 

House for All Sinners and Saints will host its annual Beer and Carols, a pub sing-along of your favorite Christmas carols, at the Blake Street Tavern, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. today.  Enjoy caroling in the warmth of a bar,with a beer in hand, and give a little back to the community by donating to the HFASS collection.
