On a cold December day, Gretchen Kurtz found plenty of heat at Thai Monkey Club, which she reviews this week. Darren Pusateri, chef of Gallo Di Nero, dishes on his favorite ingredients and favorite show -- Extreme Cougar Wives -- in the current Chef and Tell. And Mark Antonation's trip up Federal Boulevard reached another Mexican restaurant for this week's A Federal Case, which features Los Agaves Mexican Restaurant.

In other culinary news, Portland transplant -- and cult favorite -- Voodoo Doughnut finally opened on East Colfax. It was one of hundred openings over the past year; Cafe Society also offered a list of our 25 most promising restaurants of 2013 -- so far.
