Grab your turkey legs: The thirtieth annual Taste of Colorado will return to Civic Center Park this weekend, filing the space with more than fifty eateries and food establishments, as well as chef demonstrations.

Friday, August 30 :

It's the last day to take advantage of the half-priced items from Chef John Broening's new lunch menu at Le Grand Bistro & Oyster Bar, 1512 Curtis Street. The restaurant celebrated its second anniversary this week with the deal, which runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and features summer vegetable tartine, bánh mì, niçoise salad, roasted chicken sandwich, sandwich jambon brie, and more. Chef Jensen Cummings of Slotted Spoon is teaming up with the Lobby American Grille, 2191 Arapahoe Street, for an Adult Daycare program from 6 to 10 p.m. The get-together will feature drinks from Fort Collins' Black Bottle Brewery and all-you-can eats -- including a 70 pound whole pig roast -- and is the first in a series of parties that will bring back the fun to adults through food and drink. Tickets are $45 and limited; call the Lobby at 303-997-9911 to learn more. Ongoing this weekend The Eagle Wild Mushroom & Wine Weekend begins today and runs through Sunday at the Brush Creek Pavilion and Park in downtown Eagle; a three-day pass costs $160, and single-event tickets are also available.
