Sketch, of course, was the name of Morreale's short-lived concept at 250 Steele, in the space now occupied by Tambien. But turns out, he just applied for a license at the new place under the Sketch name, and will come up with the real name later.

Besides, he's got other things to do besides think of restaurant names. Like celebrate the birthday of Mezcal, the modern cantina at 3230 East Colfax Avenue (shown above) that's become such a hit. And he'll be celebrating with specials for five straight days, starting tonight.

Through Saturday, December 20, Mezcal will feature five hours of happy hours for five hours, with deals like five tamales for $5, five tacos for $5, $5 coin-style margaritas, $5 premium tequila shots and a five-course premium dinner for $35.

And from 9-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Mezcal will have live mariachi music.
