Friday, July 27:The annual Summer Brew Fest takes place tonight at Mile High Station, 2027 West Colfax Avenue, from 7 to 10 p.m. The festival features 125 beers from nearly fifty breweries, live music and a silent auction. Tickets are $30 in advance, $35 at the door and can be purchased on the festival's website; a portion of the proceeds will benefit Swallow Hill Music Association.

Kyle Hollingsworth -- keyboardist for the String Cheese Incident and avid homebrewer -- has partnered with Boulder Beer Company, 2880 Wilderness Place in Boulder, for a mini-beer festival and benefit concert. Patrons can enjoy 60 beers from 30 breweries while listening to tunes from the Kyle Hollingsworth Band from 3 to 7 p.m. Tickets to Kyle's Brew Fest cost $25 and all proceeds will benefit the Boulder-based nonprofit Conscious Alliance.Saturday, July 28 (continued):The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, 1880 Curtis Street, hosts dinner-and-a-movie night with a screening of La Femme Nikita projected on the outside patio tonight at 7 p.m.; it will be paired with a French-inspired dinner. Denver Beer Company, 1695 Platte Street, has teamed up with Maple Street Pie Company for a Pies and Pints Festival from 1 to 5 p.m. today. The two companies will pair pies with three different beers: Key Lime Pie paired with Kaffir Lime Wheat; Apricot Peach Pie with Tart Apricot Ale; and Mexican Chocolate Pie with Chile Stout. There will also be a pie-eating contest at 3 p.m. Tickets are $10 and will be sold at the door.
The thirteenth annual Rocky Mountain Tea Festival will fill the Boulder Dushanbe Teahouse, 1770 13th Street in Boulder, this weekend. The two-day event features tea-related workshops and seminars, a special tea dinner, tea parties for the kids and a "Tea and Cocktails" class for the adults.The festival runs from noon to 7 p.m. today and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
