If you're antsy to start the end-of-the-year celebration, curb that craving at Adelitas Cocina y Cantina for Taco Tuesday. The cantina serves up $1 tacos from 11 a.m. to midnight every Tuesday; you can wash them down with the margs that won our Best House Margarita award in the Best of Denver 2014). And while you're there, you can finally make those New Year's Eve reservations. Some options:

Adelita's will be ringing in the new year with a steak and lobster special, including a salad and a cocktail, for just $34.95. There will also be a tequila/champagne toast at midnight, a DJ, drink specials all night long -- and no cover. But reservations are required, so call 303-778-1294.

Axios Estiatorio will be serving up a three-course, New Year's Eve Special Menu with dinner for two for $60; six wine pairings are an additional $40. For reservations and more information, call Axios at 720-328-2225.

Celebrate your New Year's Eve Italian-style in either the intimate downstairs dining room of Firenze a Tavola or the festive upstairs space of Parisi, complete with Italian DJ Fabrizio. Both spaces will offer the same menu and require reservations; call 303-561-0234.

Tamayo will be offering a three-course prix-fixe menu with a champagne toast for New Year's Eve. Dinner is priced at $69 and reservations are required; call 720-946-1433.

Aji Latin American Restaurant in Boulder will also be serving a special three-course prix-fixe menu, which includes a glass of wine and costs $42. Call the restaurant at 303-442-3464 to make your reservations.
