Later today we'll post our Restaurant Roll Call for May, a compendium of all the openings and closings in town over the past month -- and there have been plenty.

But already, June is shaping up to be a very busy time for restaurants. Two new places have dates with the Department of Excise and Licenses on their liquor-license applications today.

Li's Asian Bistro is going into 1355 Santa Fe Drive; Okinawa Sushi plans to open soon at 3927 Tennyson Street, which is becoming a hot strip for restaurants.
