Lucy at the Landmark, the mezzanine-level restaurant inside Comedy Works South, at 5345 Landmark Place in Greenwood Village, had closed in early July and just reopened on Thursday, September 10 after what sales manager Heidi McMillen calls a "menu redo." It's now a "great family-oriented, economically-friendly restaurant with American food influenced by the flavors of the South," says McMillen.

But the menu isn't the only change; there's new blood in the kitchen, too, thanks to the hiring of Dave Epperson, the former sous chef at Del Frisco's, who replaced opening exec chef Micah Perfit. "We wanted to make Lucy into a restaurant where you could get a great bite to eat and get to a show at Comedy Works quickly, and the new menu that Dave created is perfect for that," explains McMillen.

Epperson's new board, which only parades one slab of steer (a grilled beef tender), is a mashup of salads, sandwiches, burgers, pastas and trios of French fries and macaroni and cheese. Hours are 5 p.m. to close, Tuesday through Saturday. For reservations, call 720-274-6800.
