One of the hardest reservations to get in Boulder County these days isn't even in a restaurant. It's on a farm.

Meadowlark Farm Dinners is a roving troupe of chefs and servers that pack their cookware into a bus and make meals of seasonal ingredients at the farms from whence those ingredients came. One of the only ways to eat on site at Oxford Gardens or Cure Farms, who supply many Boulder area restaurants, the group has amassed a following of diners, hungry for a non-traditional dinner experience amidst fields of produce and a chance to talk to the farmers responsible for their meals.

Reservations for August farm dinners open today, but be forewarned: They sell out almost immediately. Here's the good news: Last minute cancellations are announced on the site and via Twitter, so even if you miss your chance to reserve online, you may be able to nab a spot. And trust us, it's worth the effort.
