Lola launched its new Monday night specials menu last week, and although the pork rinds shown at right weren't our favorite, there are many, many dishes on the roster that deserve all-star billing. Among them: shrimp albondigas in tomato "soup" with pappas quesadilla for $9, an achiote chicken taco or fried fish taco for $3, and fried chicken posole for $6. There are also drink specials ranging from a happy coin margarita for $5 to a can of tecate for $2.

This lineup is only available on Mondays (although Lola also offers a happy hour from 4-6 p.m. weekdays, which repeats many of the drink deals) when it starts at 5 p.m, so hurry to 1575 Boulder Street. For more information, call 720-570-8686.
