Golden-era crooner and conservative-values icon Pat Boone has officially entered the meat market -- launching Pat Boone's All-American Meats, his branded line of mail-order steaks. According to a recent release from Pat Boone All-American Meats, his U.S.-raised beef is "part of his effort to spark an all-American revival -- a return to core values that include family, hard work, an independent spirit and lending a hand to help your fellow man." Hardworking families can hand over $110.50 for four sixteen-ounce ribeyes, $124 for four ten-ounce filets, or $178 for eight sixteen-ounce New York strip steaks.

Boone has also roped in support from the Colorado Springs-based Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, which has made his meats the official steaks of the PRCA and Wrangler National Finals Rodeo. As part of his company's initial launch, Boone plans to thrown down free samples in the ProRodeo Zone throughout the finals this month at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

According to a PRCA release announcing the deal, cowboys love Pat Boone: "I know the fans are going to love these tender and juicy steaks as much as I do," said Ryan Gray, the PRCA world record-holder in bareback riding. "And I really admire Pat's mission to restore family values and help others in need. A great steak for a great cause -- it's a winning combination."

Although bareback riding is not known to be Boone's favorite sport (especially after his public description of gay-rights activists as "homegrown sexual jihadists" in 2008), his political and religious ideology will be well-funded if this carnal endeavor takes off. Five percent of every purchase will go to the Pat Boone Foundation, ostensibly to fight world hunger -- but since his foundation supports such groups as Focus on the Family, this is a winning combination if you like your steak with a side of Jesus. For this venture, Boone has teamed up with Colorado Springs businessman J.W. Roth, co-chairman of Accredited Members, who created Worldwide Premium Packers specifically for Pat Boone All-American Meats.

"While we would certainly like to think our target market is anyone who eats meat, we understand that women aged 55+ represent our target consumer," says Kristin Miller, public relations representative for Pat Boone All-American Meats. And the ladies certainly still love Boone, even after his scandalous appearance at the 1997 American Music Awards sporting head-to-toe leather.

Conservatives, cowboys, ladies and anyone else interested can purchase cuts of Boone's patriotic protein at www.patboonemeats.com or by phone at 1-866-400-9507.
