Manning owns 21 franchises in the Denver area, and all of them have recorded big increases in sales since he bought them last year, TMZ reports.

And those stores are ringing up big sales even with the 50-percent-off deal offered on the Mondays after a Broncos win.

Manning is also helping the brand on the field: "Papa John's" was heard as an audible call during the game against the Eagles last month. The verdict is still out on whether it was Manning who uttered the words or the Eagles' defensive line taunting the quarterback, but either way, that's some genius subtle advertising.
