For many travelers at Denver International Airport, a meal at the colorful Que Bueno -- with cold beers and fiery hot sauces -- has been more than enough consolation prize for a delayed flight.

But this longtime eating oasis on Concourse B, right by gate 52, is out of commission this holiday season. According to airport spokeswoman Jenny Schiavone, the Que Bueno concession is closed for a few months for a remodel and expansion, with a target reopening date of February 2011.

In the meantime, you can try Mesa Verde Grill, which Laura Shunk recommended to Thanksgiving travelers; she also suggested several local brewpub outposts on the assorted concourses.

But if you really must get a taste of Que Bueno -- and you have a long time between flights -- you can head for Westminster and Que Bueno Mexican Grille, the DIA spot's much larger, far more elegant sibling, at 10633 Westminster Blvd., # 600.
