Organizer Chris Loffelmacher promises that this Fresh City Life program, held in conjunction with the Biennial, will also serve up salsa DJ Manolo and a performance by the Fafa Dance Conclave during the official judging, which will run from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, in the B2 Auditorium at the Central Library.

The Rules1.All recipes must be received via e-mail no later than noon on Tuesday, July 20. 2.All recipes must be your own recipe, or a substantially altered version of any previously published recipe. 3.All recipes should be formatted with all abbreviations spelled out, and ingredients listed in the order in which they are used. 4.Entered recipes may be published by the Denver Public Library with cook credit included. 5. Six finalists will be announced at the beginning of the Salsa Wars on Saturday, July 31, in the Central Library's B2 Conference Center. 6.Entrants must be present at the July 31 Salsa Wars in order to be eligible for the Grand Prize package. 7.Grand prize winner will be notified at the judging at the Salsa Wars on July 31. 8.No entry fee, no limit on entries per person.
