Santa Fe Tequila Company has gotten mixed reviews (including mine) since it opened on Santa Fe Drive (technically at 901 West Tenth Avenue) last November, but that hasn't prevented the concept from expanding to Littleton.

A second Santa Fe Tequila Company opened today in the Riverside Downs development at 2630 West Belleview, Littleton. This one also features tequila (more than sixty kinds) and Northern New Mexico cuisine, as well as lots of outdoor seating and a fire pit -- not exactly the sort of amenities you can have on busy Santa Fe Drive. “We are thrilled to bring a genuine Santa Fe style experience to even more people in and around Denver and the neighboring suburbs," says Joe Falko, partner in the project with Bill Kennedy of the 9th Door.

Unlike the Santa Fe location, which gave up on lunch, the Littleton restaurant is open starting at 11:30 a.m. And both spots are open for happy hour and dinner seven nights a week starting at 4:30 p.m. -- Jason Sheehan
