Every four years, nations come together as they try to earn soccer immortality, and bar managers work their asses off to get you in their doors and keep you there. By the time the games start on June 12, almost every sports bar in town will have drink specials to lure you in. But for those really interested in fútbol, here are six brilliant places (listed in no particular order) to grab a pint and scream "Olé" at the top of your lungs.

6) The Three Lions If you're new to soccer, Three Lions is a great place to get educated about the sport and immerse yourself in the culture. Three Lions isn't just a sports bar; it's a soccer pub, and damn proud of it. There will be a beer garden set up outside for all U.S. quarterfinal, semifinal and final games, and plenty of flat-screens inside for the rest. Because seating disappears fast, the menu is filled with finger food made for eating while standing. 5) The British Bulldog Sibling to Three Lions, the British Bulldog is that cool older brother that the younger one always wants to emulate. The atmosphere is authentic, and the patrons are very knowledgeable about soccer. The entire place gave U.S. wing DaMarcus Beasley a standing ovation when he was subbed out of last week's win vs. Nigeria -- only real soccer fans do that. The British Bulldog will have a projection screen set up outside for all U.S. quarterfinal, semifinal and final games, as well as a block party and America SCORES Denver charity fundraiser, co-hosted by Three Lions. 4) Fado Irish Pub Fado has run World Cup specials since 1998, and the increased domestic interest has only raised the stakes. Fado will have a $1 million national bracket challenge along with other local prizes and promotions. And while Fado doesn't forget to root for the red, white and blue, it welcomes other flag-bearers as well. 3) Churchill's Public House Churchill's is a great place to go if you're yearning for a football experience across the pond. The menu has all of your favorite British dishes, including bangers and mash, baked Camembert and shepherd's pie. It also serves thirteen authentic British beers and several more from Denmark, France, Germany and Spain. Churchill's will be partnering with Soccer Stop to give away all sorts of soccer swag during big games. 2) Stoney's Bar and Grill Stoney's is a sports bar and music venue (but not during World Cup games), so there will be plenty of room for your soccer party this summer. Featuring 35 TVs and three different sound zones, Stoney's won't be showing just one game at time. The Colorado Rapids and Denver Co-ed Soccer Club will be working with Stoney's during the Cup, too, with a raffle that will award two sets of 2015 Rapids season tickets. 1) The Viewhouse Eatery, Bar & Rooftop For those wanting to watch the World Cup and soak up some vitamin D, the Viewhouse will be using its outdoor and rooftop venues to show the games. Make sure to announce who you're rooting for, because there will be shot specials every time your team scores a goal.
