Last night's sunset revealed a particularly lovely sight: The signs of the Dirty Duck are again glowing. An April 1 fire at the abandoned Rockies Inn next door had forced the temporary closure of the Dirty Duck at 4780 East Evans Avenue, and seven weeks later the burned hulk of the motel is still standing, a depressing wreck in this southeast Denver neighborhood. But the Dirty Duck is again flying high, with regulars flocking to the hangout.
