On Sunday, August 14, Westword will host Tacolandia, a celebration of the city's street tacos in all their tortilla-wrapped glory. Join us at Sports Authority Field to enjoy unlimited samples from many of Denver's top taquerias, cantinas, Mexican restaurants and food trucks. Uno Mas Taqueria y Cantina will be joining the fiesta with two kinds of tacos: Duck Confit Tacos and Carnitas Tacos.

For the duck confit tacos, seasoned duck is slow-cooked until the meat is falling off the bone, then heaped on twin tortillas with pickled jalapeƱos, scallions, mango and cotija cheese. For the carnitas, Uno Mas smokes Duroc pork shoulder and tops the shredded meat with orange, radish, poblanos, roasted tomatillo salsa and cotija.

Uno Mas opened in 2013 at 1585 South Pearl Street, joining sister restaurants Gaia Bistro and Kaos Pizzeria on the block, all from owner Patrick White. And earlier this year, the Berkeley neighborhood welcomed Mas Kaos to Tennyson Street, which brought pizza and tacos together under one roof.

You're on your own for pizza, but we've got you covered when it comes to tacos. Tacolandia tickets are $40 for general admission, which gets you unlimited food samples from 4 to 7 p.m. and all the free entertainment; a $75 VIP ticket includes early entry into the event at 3 p.m., plus two Estrella Jalisco beers and plenty of surprises...including food from Jamey Fader of Lola.

Get your tickets now at westwordtacolandia.com. (If you hurry, you still may be able to snag a fiesta four-pack: four GA tickets for just $100.)
