Monday, June 20 

Frasca Food and Wine will host guest Blackberry Farm at a special guest-chef dinner featuring winemakers Jordan Salcito and Michael Cruse. The menu is described as a "Frasca touch on traditional Foothills cuisine inspired by Appalachian ingredients." The evening is $125 per person; call Frasca at 303-442-6966 for reservations and more information.   

Tuesday, June 21 

Wonder Juice Bar is celebrating one year of serving up fresh-pressed juice on West Pearl Street in Boulder with a special anniversary party today. You can sip on juice or beer from Post Brewing Company and nosh on bites from the West End Tavern; there will also be a pop-up market with other local craft vendors. The party runs from 5 to 9 p.m.; contact Wonder Juice Bar at 720-484-4927 for more information. 

Elway's Downtown is hosting a Stag's Leap wine dinner at 7 p.m. today. The-four course meal is $150; call Elway's at 303-312-3107 to make your reservations.

Wednesday, June 22 

The Inventing Room has launched a series of “Science of Ice Cream” demonstrations designed to show kids about carbon dioxide, liquid-nitrogen ice cream and more, and class is back in session from 11 a.m. to noon today.  The class is free, but space is limited and reservations are required; call 303-885-2802. 

It's National Bike to Work Day, and to celebrate, Chipotle is offering a buy-one-get-one deal on any burrito, salad or taco order. All you need to do for the deal is stop by your favorite Chipotle location from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and show your bike helmet or mention that you biked to work. 

If your Bike to Work Day commute takes you through Skyline Park, stop by Pedals for Pancakes for a free breakfast today. From 6:30 to 9 a.m., the park will have not just a pancake breakfast, but coffee, giveaways, chair massages and bike tune-ups. Visit biketoworkday.us for more information.

Top Taco takes over the CU Denver Fields on the Auraria campus from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. tonight. This year the taco showdown will feature more than 58 restaurants vying for the title of Top Taco in four categories: Top Creative Taco, Top Traditional Taco, Top Veggie Taco and Top Tequila Cocktail. You can enjoy unlimited samples of all the tacos and margs, along with samples of more than forty brands of tequila, Estrella Jalisco beer, wine and more. LUPEC (Ladies United for the Preservation of Endangered Cocktails) has been hosting the Amazing Traveling Silent Auction to benefit the Prom Dress Exchange every Friday through June at a different Denver location.
